The Vienna Yacht Club is dedicated to:

(A) The protection and preservation of the streams, lakes, and rivers throughout the Potomac Watershed.

(B) The encouraging, aiding and giving direction to the conservation of water resources and adjacent lands for recreational purposes.

(C) The promotion of public good will and understanding of the paddle sport and fostering its safe development in Northern Virginia.

(D) The encouragement of exploration and the recreational use of rivers and other waters by offering training and instruction, and by developing and providing expert leadership.
